BIRTHDAY GIFT

This will be a very quick one.
I only have a few minutes till my video finishes converting. Then, I'll be off to bed.

Well, my birthday is in a few days already. (Sixteen, w00t!)

By this time, I've already given my parents a list of thing I want.
Problem is, I haven't yet. And it's crazy.

Have I come to a point in my life wherein I don't want things anymore?

Not really. I want a new cellphone. I want a portable game console. I want a watch. I want a lot of things. But... I dunno. I don't seem to want any of them enough for me to write it down.

I want something special for my birthday. I dunno.
I might settle for a watch, but seriously, I want something special. I just don't know what.

(Random thought: Should I go crazy, and ask for a cajon? Learn a new instrument, perhaps.)

GOD. I'M SO SHALLOW. Wahahahahaha.

SHANG and TRANSFORMERS

I shall start off by saying I like how Multiply looks now.
Much better than the original update. It looks simpler without all the divisions. Now, if they just put back the birthdays on the sidebar, I'd be contented. :P

Anyhow.
Went to Shang today. Why? To watch Transformers. Hihihi.
As I have said, I wasn't really excited to watch it. I was right. More about that later. Hehehe.

So, I drove to Shang. Thing is... I left my license. *face palm*
More craziness ensues. Since the parking lot was damn crazy, things got weird and I almost--ALMOST--hit the parking cone and/or the sniffing dog. Hehehe.
That got my heart pumping. :|

Fast forward. Errands, yada yada yada.
I saw Alex! Awwww. I miss her na!
And then I think I saw AnnaGab. I think... not sure. Hehehe.
Awww, kulang na lang si Chengly, and the whole family would be in Shang. Hahaha!

Today, I went shopping. Wahahaha.
Zara didn't have the shirt I want. Damn. There was a sale pa naman. F&H didn't have the size. So damn again. Again, there was a sale pa naman.

Anyhow, I settled with a bag from Bench and a shirt from People Are People, and I greeted myself, "Happy Birthday, Luis!" after paying. Hehehehe. What? I have the right to buy myself birthday presents, right?

Fast forward some more, I watched Transformers.
(I think I'll use the review as my Stallion application thinggie.)

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

As I have already said, Transformers is just like banging and scraping two pots against each other. However, I'd still be able to tell which pot is which.

I'd go on and on about everything I didn't like about the movie, but I don't want to elaborate on how much of a glorified junkyard it is. Instead, I'll just summarize what the movie lacks in two words: Consistency, Complexity.

Not to say I didn't like some stuff. I mean, I enjoyed Julie White's comic relief as Sam's mother. Megan Fox is fun to watch on screen--then again, she's Megan Fox. Then, there's Bumblebee, one of the few robots that stand out enough to actually take my interest. Sure, there were some exciting moments, but they weren't enough to save the film from earthly doom.

Leaving the theater, I just found myself wondering, "what the hell happened?"

BLOGGING, CLASSES SUSPENDED and HAIR

This blog will be composed of totally random thoughts.
I'm having a headache at the moment from wearing my classes for too long a time, but I can't see the screen without them. As such, I cannot properly arrange my thoughts. Bear with me.

Hmm. Where do I begin?

Let's start with a topic that's timely.
Xavier declared there....

SCRATCH.

Talk about that later. I got a sudden surge.

I can't blog properly.
I feel so... caged.

Well, ever since Mr Nicolai made blogging homework (well, one a week), I've felt so caged when I write. Like it has to have perfect this and that. Argh.

I dunno. And I'm the one in the class who blogs the most.
Sigh. It's a good thing I'm already used to blogging in (almost) straight English. See my Blogspot for all my old Taglish blogs.

Anyhow, where was I?
Ah yes. Classes have been suspended. Xavier now has a confirmed AH1N1 case.
(Please do pray for him.)

Now, when I first heard the news--sometime in the afternoon--my reaction was... What was my reaction again? Oh yes, I was dancing around.
Then again, I was dancing around even before I heard. leeeeeet the sun shiiiiine!

Well. Unlike most, I'm actually quite relieved.
I've been feeling really stressed these past few days. To think it's only the second week of school. I really need the rest, and I was granted just that. THANK YOU!

I dunno how ELF is going to work out. I hope it does.
(See, take a look at that. I like my colloquial British spelling of "don't know." Do I have to change that to just so that I'd be grammatically correct?)

What I'm quite worried about is how things will work out when we get back. Sigh.
If life were more simple.

Anyhow, I hope the teachers don't dump us with a million reading assignments and stuff.

Well. Transformers is showing now.
I dunno. I'm not as excited as everybody else. Looking back at the old Transformers movie, the only things I liked about it were the small hints of comedy and Megan Fox. Hehe. I cannot CANNOT understand robot fight scenes. It's just metal clunking. I can do that with pans at home, and I can still differentiate which pan is which.

But hell, I'll still watch it. Why wouldn't I?

In other news, I'm having evil thought regarding green slip virgins. Hihihihi.
Nah... I'll be good.

Well. My current addiction is the newly revived musical Hair.
I only have the soundtrack, I need to see it. Anyone with a vid?

Anyhow. I'm supposed to be talking about more stuff, but the aforementioned headache is not helping me remember.

I guess I shall go watch a movie on my iPod now.

Enjoy the clips. :D

DYING WISH, TIME MANAGEMENT and ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Today is San Juan day, so school was cancelled.
But bleh. Everyone else has no school since there's a signal two storm.
Whatever.

I have mastered doing things with my elbows now. I can press keyboard buttons and open doors. Beat that. Hehehe. Why the hell was I so bored to have done that? Well, my hands were all wet and stuff from peeling shrimps. Love.

Anyhow, since there's nothing that interesting to talk about.
Lem'me post some internet articles I've read:

#1 California girl gets dying wish to see movie 'Up'

When I read this, I just went Awwww. :D

If you don't plan on clicking on the article, here's the gist.

A 10-year-old girl named Colby Curtin really wanted to see the new Pixar movie Up. But she was too sick to make it to the theater. She had cancer.

Anyhow, a family friend contacted Pixar, and told them about her story. So Pixar sent an employee to bring her a DVD of the movie.

"I'm ready (to die), but I'm going to wait for the movie," she replied when her mother asked her if she can wait for the movie. She died a few hours after the movie ended.

Wasn't that nice of Pixar to actually fulfill her wish. At least she died happily.

#2 Two Caps, Two Gowns, But Not Too Busy

The gist: a kid graduates from high school on May 29, 2009 and from college on June 20, 2009. It's just WOAH.

He joined this program where you can take college classes earlier.
He goes to school at regular school hours, attends football practice, then heads on to Cal State LA. His day ends at 10pm.

I'm just WOAH. He's really good with his time management skills.
Well, if he can do it, then I can too. No, I won't go to college just yet. I really have to stop procrastinating and start doing things right.

#3 Alice in Wonderland Pictures
from somehere/everywhere in the internet

This is going to be amazing. I can't wait to see it.
Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.

Oh! And I can't wait to see the new Fame movie. I hope it doesn't screw up the original.

Based on the trailer, everyone looks so clean. No one looks like they really came from the tough life of the city.

Oh! Leeeeet the sun shiiiiiine! Hair. I like the music. I need a video. Haha.

GREENSLIP and "THAT OTHER FEELING"

That works as a tongue twister.
Ten times! Fast! Hehehe.

I am now impure. Stained. Unclean. (I want to use a certain word here, but it might not be appropriate. Hehehe. But I guess you know what my mind is thinking of. Right?)
What am I talking about? For the first time ever in my entire sixteen--almost seventeen--years of living to the like [insert more word related to first-time-ever here], I received a green slip.1 Dundundun.

Even Mrs. Manongsong was surprised.
When she received it, she went like, "Meron na? Kanino toh? YOU!?!" And I was shocked as well... well, maybe not. (Why was I not shocked? See next part of this blog.)

Well. In my mind, I was going ARGH.
I was already ready to step into the spotlight and sing "Totally F*cked." I was having a sort of Melchior moment.2 And I was thinking of writing a blog similar to anyon of his "rebellious" journals. Well, of course I'm making one... that's like DUH. Just not now.

Anyhow. Pleading does not work.
And I'm quite okay with it. I mean, Mr.S is nice. :D Well, I've been seeing him too often [see luis-is-now-secretary-so-he's-tasked-to-deal-with-the-reply-slips]. And he's a nice person. I don't really mind doing detention for the reason he stated. (If it were another teacher, maybe I would hold a grudge. *wink*)

Ack. This is a sad day.

I hope my parents took it well.
I mean, it's not like I was caught doing drugs or punching classmates, was I?
I just happened to have found myself [see title] accidentally.

1 - For people not from Xavier. A green slip = punishment = detention. I have an hour's worth btw.
2 - For people who have no idea what I'm talking about or haven't been reading my blogs as much, I'm referring to Spring Awakening. Melchior is a "straight-a student who hates school"--to put it in simpler terms--who finds himself under school heat.

Of course, my smileys are happy. Chill lang.
But not really.

Have you ever wanted to be struck by lightning? Jump off a building? [Insert related situations here]? Well, this morning, I did.

It's just one of those days, you know?
And NO. This is not related to the green slip.

I fell asleep in the school bus this morning (I have been bestowed upon the honor of the front seat. Thank you. Thank you.), and I woke up exactly when we arrived in school.
That's when I felt it.

What exactly is "it"?
You know, the feeling like you're dead. The feeling that you don't exist. The feeling like you're a walking zombie or something to that effect.
As Diana would put it, "Do you read obituaries and feel jealous of the dead? It's like living on a cliffside not knowing when you'll dive. Do you know? Do you know? What it's like to die alive?"3

It's like your soul's gone missing.
Creepy. I don't really remember how I got over it. I just did somehow.

Anyhow, that's the reason I had a more indifferent reaction to the first green slip of my life.
Well, I guess these things come in at just the right time, don't they?

3 - That's from the new musical Next to Normal. Diana has bipolar disorder. No, I do not have bipolar disorder.

Honestly, I have more to talk about.
It's just that (1) I can't remember, (2) the humidity is driving me crazy, and (3) I'm quite tired.

I like these superscript things. Hehe.

Bookstore and Other Sunday Stuff

I don't want to write my Chinese riji yet. Too bored and lazy to do it.
I hate writing Riji's. I will not benefit from Chinese, really. (Please don't give me any of your globalization crap. Bleh.)

(eats Dear Darla Pizza. not bad)

Back to the subject. What is it again? Damn.

Well. We went to National in the morning:
I can't believe I bought the English version of Fili. That's so against my pride and my morals. o.O But I told myself I have to excel this year, so it would really be of much help. Sigh.

I also bought a couple of other things. OC-ness. :))
I need to buy one of those stapler-clip things Charles has. I think it will really help in organizing those damn circulars. Hehehe. Grabe, kina-career.

Well, I saw the babies today. Awww.
When Alex saw me, she complimented my haircut. Hahaha. I miss her soooo much!
And Robin greeted me Happy Father's Day! LOL. Father-figure. Hahaha. I miss him toooo!

Anyhow. I have to go off and finish that Riji. Argh.

REVIEW and BOOKSTORE

Medyo tinatamad ako mag-blog.
But I'm still here. Hahahaha.

Okay. First day of refresher.
Might I say, it helped more than review.

Take Math for example. We took up the same lesson in review, but I still had troubles with it.
Today, I really understood. Hehehe.

I MISS MRS.H! :(

I loved the feeling of being there.
First, it was really peaceful. The morning vibes + less students. It was just awesome. You don't feel stressed in the classroom. (But come the next class, the feeling was gone.)

I didn't like Science class.
I didn't learn. Practically because we only (1) answered and (2) checked the worksheet. I need a lecture. o.O Worksheets don't really help me recall things.

Why the hell did I take English and Filipino?
Vocab. Hahaha. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't really take it.
I was hoping we'd be taught how to get those meaning through roots and stuff (for English).
I know my vocab is better than most, but there's still a lot I dunno.

Fast forward.
I went to National.

Anecdote.
A girl mistook me for some kind of salesman just because I was in school uniform. o.O
Ano'ng kala niya sa akin? Hahaha. I just walked right passed her. Didn't even look.

I bought a bell!
You shall see it in school soon. It will be very useful. ;)
*scheming* I've been planning this since last year, but I never remembered to buy one.

I also bought a songwriting book. Why?
(a) It might help me fix my piano playing. There's this whole section on music theory. Hehehe. (b) It might help me write my project. Who knows? It might be finished just at the right time. :D

TWITTER, SECRETARY and COLLEGE

I'm dizzy.
Well, not really.

Fine.
Metaphorically, I'm dizzy. Hahahaha.

"Why?" You might ask.
First of all, Twitter.

Twitter just isn't my thing. I'm glad I chose Plurk during the summer. Twitter just made me dizzy. It doesn't have Plurk's timeline. It feel so boring and CLUTTERED. Ack.

Second, being secretary.
Actually, it hurt my back more. Arranging the reply slips is hell-ish.
Thank you, Babsi! You were awesome for three years! I'm really grateful now I know how hard (physically) it is. Why the hell do we have more than five circulars at the beginning of the school year anyway?

But why else am I dizzy?

College application. Gahd.
I still dunno what course to write down. So far, I'm thinking Psych and Journ. Any other ideas?
Hmmm. I guess it'll be cool if I type down what I'm considering.

Broadcast Communication
Business Administration (although I'm definitely not choosing this. I prefer Ateneo for some reason)
Business Economics
Comparative Literature
Economics
Film
Journalism
Political Science (just for the heck of it)
Psychology

There we go. So I'm leaning on Psych and Journ. (Psych being first.)
But I dunno really. Any ideas?

I'm still not too sure about it. It's like... ... ... It's not my thing.

Oh! And I have to say.
I keep getting "Theater Arts?" from random people. Just saying.
I don't think I'd want to study it. 'Coz where's the fun in that?

We had a career talk today.
UA&P came over. And they convinced me well. Hehehe.
They brought good speakers. :D I'm really interested now. And their courses seem really good. Then again... as Kim would like to say it: "University of the Anti-Poor." LOL.

I'm still glued to Ateneo. (The JGSOM dean came over too.)
Strangely, aside from CommTech, I've been thinking about Management Honors or Management Engineering. I have no idea why. I just have. I know it's friggin' hard, but... I dunno. Hehehe.

Anyhow. Almost 11:30. Must sleep now.

FIRST DAY

Okay. First day.
(that rhymed)

It's one of these rare days that I'm not late for the bus.
But of course, I was almost late for class. Stupid rain.

Anyhow. We arrived in school at just the right time. :D
Before I finally reached the fifth floor, I threw a spiteful look at the H1 corridor.
Grr. Why you steal our floor. :|

I got into the classroom and wow.
Nice to be back. :D

Well. I somehow managed to become class secretary. w00t.
This is gonna be great for my application form. LOLz.
But of all the positions, why the one with the most stress? o.O
(Sigh Kim, I do get your point.)

We did the most depressing thing ever in Chinese class:
We ripped the answer sheet pages out of our book. Gasp!

What else is there for me to say?
Gahd the place is crowded. o.O

Cool new ID's! w00t!
Kinda makes life a bit more complicated though. Hahaha.

Im'ma b

Bus ride home was a laugh trip (thanks to J&A's kakulitan).

Well, I'm home alone. Yesss.

Im'ma try to be in bed by 10:30. How's that sound?

Wow. I'm just rambling.

THE END OF SUMMER

Supposedly, I am writing a blog that features some reflections about my summer and some expectations about the school year.

But then things aren't going the way they're supposed to be. Ya?
I'm having some kind of block at the moment. Please excuse whatever may come out of this.

*thinking of something to blog about*

Okay. Here.

Number One.
I will study harder. And this time, I really mean it. I want to graduate with honors.
This time, I'm really gon'na study for quizzes and stuff rather than doing some other whatever.

Number Two.
I will not procratinate. I must get rid of the habit! It's basically the root of all my problems. And it's gonna be worse come college or real life.

Number Three.
I'm going to be really busy. I know that. Watch out!

Number Four.
I don't want to study yet! But I'm excited for school!
I don't want to graduate yet! But I'm excited for college!
Contradictions. WTH.

Number Five.
Gotta learn to sleep earlier. Ei, so I'm not late for the bus. Bee, do I don't sleep in class.

Number Six.
I want my Sundays to be stress-free! So I have to work harder!

Number Seven.
I'll miss my summer. I'll miss being out of the house. I'll miss my ArtsWork peeps. I'll miss my Charmee peeps. I'll miss making gulo my review seatmate. (how conyo) I'll miss my usual going-out barkada (you know who you are!). I'll my the peaceful barkada I'm supposed to have.

Number Eight.
I have to finish my photo album already! Argh. Soon.

Number Nine.
I have an awesome birthday gift! :D Thanks, Jess!

Number Ten.
My birthday is in less than a month, and I don't have a gift in mind yet.
I'm thinking... anorexic cellphone, watch or psp. None of which I really want or need. It's just that I can't think of anything. I could try the cajon. But hmm I'm having doubts about learning.

Number Eleven.
I've recently been thinking about.... Nah. I won't tell you that.
Apparently, my soulmate's name starts with R. I guess I haven't met her yet.

Number Twelve.
I hope I have awesome teachers.
And I hope there's less drama in... ehem.

Number Thirteen.
My dad just bought this new manual shredder. I can't go a day without wasting paper. Lol.
Oh why. Badbadbad.

Number Fourteen.
I hope the CAT haircut requirement doesn't make me look stupid. Hahaha.
I can't do push-ups right. Must exercise more. Yikes.

Number Fifteen.
I gotta sleep soon. I think I'll end this. Now.

hellofirstday.hay.
wow. why have i been blogging in numbers these past few days. okay, fine. it's just my second, but still! hahaha.

RANDOMNESS

Robbed.
Billy Elliot whatever. Hahaha.

Anyhow.
Some random facts about this lazy day.

1. Technically, it wasn't a day.
I woke up at 4:48pm. If you're wondering, I slept at 5am.

2. I finished Skins already. Yey.
I still like the first cast over the second. I miss Cassie. Hahahaha.

3. Next to Normal is awesome. Amen.

4. Tomorrow shall be the start of my last few gimiks before summer.

5. I have to finish my photo album now. On the side note, I've finally finished working on my photo frames. Yey.

6. I have to make paalam for something. I'm so excited about it! :D

7. In less than a month, I'm going to turn 17. Hahaha.
Though, hopefully, I'll have to celebrate it a week later. ;) Why? Guess.

8. My Multiply hasn't upgraded to 4.0 yet. I want it na. Hahaha.

Anyhow. I can't think of anything more to say. Hehehe.

I just really wanted to shout Next to Normal was robbed. :D

GIMIKS, HORROR MOVIE, SKINS and SAT

This week has been awesome.
Well... mostly. :D

WARNING. I dunno if it's the weather or my total lack of concentration. But this blog will be very. I dunno. Not me. I guess. :))

June Three.
ArtsWork-turned-Charmee gimik.
Had so much fun in Shang. It was wild.

Come togetherrrrrr!
I miss ArtsWork na. Awww.

June Four
DRAG ME TO HELL! Probably the best horror film I've ever seen.
Went to Shang. Adventure. And then "water" time. Weee.
Movie poster pics. w00t!

We were a little late for the movie.
Quite funny. Saktong when I was able to see the screen fully after getting up the stairs, biglang may panakot. Nagulat tuloy ako. Na-off balance. Hahaha!

(I'm just wondering. Why is it it's like I'm the only one screaming in horror movies. Well... me and my seatmates. Hahaha. Screaming is fun. And then I laugh because I screamed. hahaha.)

New show obsession. Skins. Hahaha. Beat that, *insert a teen drama here.*

I took the SATs today.
Before I go on, here's a background story.

Number 1.
I did not friggin' study for it. The closest thing I did to studying is taking review classes, which are more focused on the ACET and UPCAT.

I think I'm the only person who didn't study for it. Nikki has been at it the whole summer. Nerd. Westion studied for a week. Babsi has been going at even while third year was still going on, making mentoring period study time. And the list goes on. That made me nervous.

Number 2.
I only had two hours of sleep. Because I wanted to finish the series already, I watched Skins till 4am. Hehehe. Bad bad bad.

Anyhow. I woke up at the ungodly hour of 6am. (Ungodly for me.)
It was raining, so the weather was cold. Perfect.

Before heading off to Taguig, I bought myself a doughut from 7/11.
It didn't take us long to find the school, which was a good thing since we were going to be "late."

Anyhow. I found the hall we're supposed to be in, and there was this friggin' long line filled with international school students. Almost everybody was taller than me. o.O

What gave me a strange feeling was that they were all speaking with an American accent. I was thinking to myself, "ang sarap managalog ngayon." But of course, I was silent since I had no one to talk to. I just occupied myself by 'overhearing' the girls behind me. They were speaking in Tagalog. Weee.

Anyhow. After being in line for what seemed like forever, I got into my testing room. It was their theater. I hate their lighting system. Waaaa. But I think, other than that, Lecture is still the best. Weee.

Bianca was the first person I recognized. She was by the door. Hahaha.
Didn't know she was taking it. I was also roommates with Michael Tan, Ryan, Dustin, Weston and Nikki.

Anyhow. I must first say one of teachers was a b*tch.
I don't want to say much, but it involves simple instructions and being a few SECONDS late.

On to the test.
Before we started, I was feeling nervous. I shall repeat, I didn't study.
So I suddenly remembered one of the souvenirs Expert Guides gave: a prayer card.
Prayer Before Exams. I read it thrice.

It really did help. I really have to thank EG.
And of course, Jess.

I think I did well. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be.
Even if I lacked sleep, my mind was clear. And although I didn't study, nothing seemed too difficult. I mean... the vocab. But then I just used cancellation.

The test was okay actually. :P

Well, maybe except for my shitty essay.
I only used one page. And it was so shitty. I was barely halfway through when they announced, 10 mins. Anyhow, whatever.

At the end of the test, I was just content.
And I was glad I didn't waste my time studying.

Anyhow, I hope this won't turn out to be like one of my Math tests. You know, when you're really confident you did it all right... till you find out you didn't. Hehehe.

Anyhow. Since I was bored in line, I got myself thinking.
Why am I taking it anyway? I'm not really hoping to study abroad. I'm just trying it out for the sake of, well, trying it out. (And wasting money. Hahaha.) Well. I think I'm settled with Ateneo.
But you know, maybe if I get to go to New York. That'd be wow for me. I dunno really.

I should be going now. :D
(and yes, thank God for the postponing of classes. :D)

didn't i see this movie with nick murphy and the nurse?

SECTIONS, MOVIES and MUSICALS

Okay.
I am bored.

I think I should go to sleep now. Make up for... yeah.

Newsnewsnews.
It's quite annoying the site showing our section isn't working. Grrr.
I want to know my section/classmates already. Though I'm fairly certain it's C.

If ever it is, then my very reliable source tells me (because he looked at the door--daw.)
our class adviser is Ms. Manongsong and our mentors are Mr. Yu and Ms. Moscoso.
Not bad.

Anyhow, I've been watching a couple of movies, but I'm too lazy to make reviews. But since that won't let me rest, I'mma write one word reviews.

Departures - Beauitful! (Oscar for Foreign-Language Film)
Easy Virtue - Almost...
In the Land of Women - Awww...
Angels and Demons - Wow.
Star Trek - YEAH!
My Best Friend's Wedding - Hmmm...
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying - Yeah...
There's Something About Mary - Funneh!
De-Lovely - Hmm...

I think that's all of them. o.O

There's one more, by the way. But it's not a movie.
It's a new musical called Next to Normal.

What's it about? Insanity. No shit.
Fine. It's the story of a mother who struggles with a mental disease and its effects her family.
Same banana. Hahahaha.

It's a rock musical.
Not really Spring Awakening, which is still my all-time favorite. But it's still a very good show. The songs are stuck in my head. Hehehe.

In other news. I'm really excited for tomorrow.
As such, I should go to sleep so that I can wake up. Hahaha.

LIGHT DAY and MASS

Sigh. Today was an awesome day.
Sure, it's raining, but I felt really good.

I got THAT feeling again. Like you're really light.

I guess it's partly because I slept wonderfully, and I didn't have to wake up for Mass.
Just woke up on my own pace. Took a bath... and not in a rush. Felt really fresh.

No worries really.

I read more stories from the book I was given. :D
And I watched In the Land of Women... which wasn't bad. It was... good actually.

I went to Mass in the afternoon. Walked to church, actually, though it was raining.

Anyhow...
LOVE. I wish everyday was like today. No worries.

Going back to church.

Bad English was killing me. Hehe.
(title...with him, and in him)

But something struck me.
After taking communion. I went back to my seat, knelt and prayed. Then I sat back down. I wasn't leaning on the backrest since someone was still kneeling, praying.

I couldn't help but overhear some of the words she was saying. She was actually saying it out loud. Though not loud enough for me to hear. (Mind you, I wouldn't eavesdrop on some stranger.) The only thing that she said with the most conviction enough for me to hear was peace of mind.

But was struck me the most is that she was crying.
Yes, she was. I could hear her.

She made me think about my own religion.

Anyhow. That's mostly it. I had an awesome day. How was yours?
