Restlessness, Music and Movies.

Today has been really, really restless. *sigh* I can call it boring, but it's been eventful... at least. *more sighs*

I guess I can credit the restlessness to a restless night. I slept past 3 last night. I was in bed at around 1 or 2. But I couldn't get myself to fall asleep. So I reconciled to taking a midnight snack and watching some television. I wish I hadn't missed kabagang though. That would've made it a fun night.

Add to that, I was awoken by noisy chatter in the middle of the night--or day--and added unto by my cough. And I thought it was already getting better. Well, they closed the blinds, which sorta added to the heat. I would like to add: MY ROOM IS NOT A REFUGEE CENTER!

I woke up a quarter before three. The latest so far. This sleeping habit has got me worrying so I asked Yahoo Answers about it. LOL. I'd like to say I trust the RPSGT over the arthritic man who talks about cyadic patterns. Whatever cyadic patterns are. That lightened me up.

In any case, this sleep pattern has got my body clock ruined... coincidentally, so is my computer clock. I have no idea how long I've been doing things.

In other news, I've been downloading songs today... and yesterday night. Yesterday, I took all the Little Shop of Horror songs I could take off the internet. After hours of finding it, I finally was able to download the finale complete with its start. Wahaha!

Today, I got songs that are not musical-related. Songs I normally listen to. However, I haven't listened to these songs I'm downloading. I blame hell week for cutting me off my normal life. I'm trusting Trisha with these songs she gave me. Add to those, I took a few songs of my own.

Right now, I find With You amazing. That's from Chris Brown. Then there's the remix of Wake Up Call featuring Mary J Blige. Love it! And then there's Anyone Else But You. Where'd I get that? It's the soundtrack of Juno. Hihihi!

Anyone! Anyone! DVD or whatever online site! I wanna see Juno. Hahaha. I still can't find it. And I hope what I'm downloading is right. LOL.

Right now, I have the sudden urge to go sing some karaoke. The other part of me wants to go watch a movie. I'm following the latter, so I'm choosing. Should I continue watching Transformers (which got cut when the bell rang last Science class) or if I should go watch Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo--last year's MMFF offering? Hmmm.

(A little side-note: I haven't watched a Pinoy movie in a theatre yet. They're all either on DVD or from the one's school has to offer. How embarassing! Hahaha.)

One thing's for sure. I'm going to watch it downstairs on the new flat screen tv. Weeee!

Lists, Juno and Little Shop of Horrors

Wow. I should really get my self a new list of resolutions before the new year comes in. Anyhow, (and maybe a new set of words to use other than "Wow," "Anyhow" and "Well" ) I've completed a few stuff out of my list of things to do.

  • Download songs - half done
  • Upload pictures
  • Fix my calendar - done!
  • Send stuff to Androgyny. Hahaha. The deadline is close! I really need a reply on that email before I send it. opinions. opinions. hahaha!

Well, (there's the word again!) I've recently been addicted to two stuff this week: Juno and Little Shop of Horrors.

After taking a look at the list of nominees for the Golden Globes, I got curious as to what Juno was. Hahaha. Wikipedia solves all questions! And I now seriously want to watch it. I'm still trying to find some online site that has it. Hahaha! Sadly, no one's posted it yet. Hahaha! BTW... it stars Ellen Page (Shadowcat from X-men 3), Michael Cera (Superbad), Jennifer Garner, Allison Janney (Hairspray), JK Simmons and that other guy. (sorry.. forgot the name... but i think it's bateman.)

Well, (ulit!) I watched Little Shop of Horrors on YouTube. The whole thing by a high school group who posted their whole show. I didn't really like how they did it. But I like the musical na. Hahaha! Prior to that certain FX meeting, I've never heard of it in my entire life. Hahahaha. I love the finale's start (how ironic), Skid Row and Suddenly Seymour. LOL. Anyhow, I searched for mroe videos... and this has to be my favorite: http://youtube.com/watch?v=opQplXk-s18 ang galing nila.... compared to the oneS I've watched at least. Hahahaha!

Now, I must log-off! Wahooooeeeee.

Merry Christmas, all! Woohoo!

Christmas Eve

So this is an account of how it all went. LOL.

Grabe... I'm such a crammer, even before leaving, I was still finishing them Christmas cards. Anyhow, I was sending some eCards to those abroad when we had to leave, so I had to rush one card. Haha.

Anyhow, we left for Padre Pio for the midnight mass. And then, we went to Ayala na. When there, I ran up to Kuya's house na para matapos ko na ang pagsulat sa mga card. But... I wasn't able to. Napaaga ang gift giving. So we went down. Distributed the gifts.

Grabe si Robin... surrounded by gifts. LOL! Hahaha. Si Alex naman, ayaw lisanin ang kanyang bagong mini-golf cart. Hahaha. Cute nilang dalawa. So we had the pic-taking. And then I opened one gift because of my parents' insistence. Haha!

I just wanna say... it wasn't what I was expecting. And my first impression isn't really that good. Why? I wanted something small. And what I got was way bigger than my original one. So I'm like.... what... how do I use this? But then again... it's really, really cool. So yeah.. I like it na. Sadly, I still can't use it all the time. I still imaging finding myself looking like a fool in Shang or EK or somewhere lugging this around:

Anyhow... So yeah... I got that. Cool noh. Hahaha. But I still can't stop myself from thinking that it's so not handy since I have to wear it on my neck rather than being able to slip it inside my pocket. Hay....

Well. I rushed back up to finally finish the cards. Hihihihi. And then I went back down to give them. And then I played Monopoly with Ate Kaye and Trisha.

But the game was interrupted by wine. And eventually, we spoke with everyone in the States. Tita Issa and Tito Dick called. And we chatted with Ate Carla on YM. Hahaha.

Well. We finished up past 3. And we went home. Hahaha. I opened my gifts... daming cool shirts!! Hahaha. Anyhow... I got a hoodie na.. the one I chose from Shang. Hahaha.

I finally went to sleep at around 4 and woe up at 12. Haha. Phew. Daming ginawa ah! LOL.

I wanna upload pictures but I'm too tamad... and I still have to install whatever stuff for the cam. Hay. Anyhow... back to life. May party pa mamaya for Mama Jenny's 80th. Hahaha.

Hmmm

Grabe! Those Christms cards are nuts. I really keep asking myself why I chose to do that kind of design. I was doing it last night right after blogging (because I was too lazy to do it in the afternoon before. ) I was really shocked to find out that it was already 2 and I've only done two. So I slept at 2:30 last night having finished 4. And I've done two more just a while ago. Sigh. TWO MORE!

A little history on my Christmas cards... I've been making them since I was really, relly young. Sort of like a tradtition. I'd give one to everybody. Hahaha. Usually, I put cliche messages inside because I do not know wat to say. But they're still dear and meaningful anyway. Hahaha!

Well... I've gotta go.... I stll have to do them. Hay.

Oh yeah...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Shopping

Grabe. The draft disappeared so I'm writing this all over again. Hay.

Anyhow, before I go on about yesterday, here's a gist of today. Hahaha! Well, we went to church and then planned to eat lunch at Peri-Peri. So my mom and I got in to order while my dad was parking. He hadn't arrived yet, so my mom and I started eating. Turned out that it was soooo hard to park that my dad just had us wrap the food so he can eat it at home. How sad.

Well. I watched the ABS CBN Christmas Special on You Tube this afternoon. Hahaha! I didn't appreciate it as much since it was all pixelated. Hay. I missed it kasi on TV. Anyway, I loved the finale, the 3 divas and the 6 divas. The Star Magic portion was great too. I also loved the theatre part and KC's solo. Ang galing niya! I was just wondering why Anne and Juday didn't sing for the drama part. Hahaha. Anyhow, I didn't really like the comedians part since I couldn't understand it with all those pixels. Hahaha!

Hay. I wanna watch last year's Christmas special again--particularly the one with Bamboo, the big bosses dancing Boom Tarat and the comedians doing their singing. Hahaha. Sadly, YouTube took it out.

Tonight naman, we went to Shang to eat dinner and find me a gift. Hahaha. Finally, we found one... hahaha. Looks cool!

Hmmm... that wasn't a gist. LOL.

Well, yesterday, Trish, dad and I went to Trinoma. It was my first time, and I have to say I liked it there. But nalula ako sa dami ng tao. GRABE! Maybe that's why they made a four-lane parking lot driveway. Just like a highway na!

Anyhow, the most frequently used quote that day was "Let's look around pa." Uttered mostly after checking the price tag. But hey, looking around more worked! I was able to find A Bossini shirt in landmark worth 499 that was worth 699 in Bossini. Galing ko! Well, the other was "You're so good." Mostly said to Trisha everytime she'd find the shop we were looking for.

Well, I bought my inaanak a top from OshKosh and pants from Kids of Bayo.... grabe. We kept looking for pants everywhere.... because they're all more expensive than the top. The top was just 399. So I kept searching, even the pants were expensive in Landmark. Hahaha. Buti na lang I decided to go to Kids of Bayo. Hahaha!

And then, I bought Trish a gift kahit she was there with me. Hahaha. She just sat in the corner while I looked. The really weird thing was everyone else buying were girls... except for the guys who were helping their sweethearts. Hahaha. OP ako sobra. LOL! Anyhow, hers was easy to find... sana she likes it. Hahaha! (BTW: she almost saw her gift. Almost.)

Well, Trisha hates the people in people are people. They wouldn't have folded her gift for her mom properly is she didn't tell them to. Hahaha.

We ate lunch in Sbarro--that was HEAVY! We ate snacks naman in Starbucks. Boy was it crowded! Hahaa. Anyhow, I got myself a gingerbread man!

Hahaha! La lang. Anyhow, we went around right after all our Christmas shopping because my dad wanted to buy us gifts... and he wanted us to choose. Hahaha. I've gotta say... jeans-shopping still has me confused. LOL!

Well. We went home after. I fell asleep though. Hahaha. When I got home and woke up, I started fixing/hiding the gifts. Hahaha!

For some weird reason, I wanted to fix my whole room, and so it is. No more school stuff lying around the corner. Hahaha!

All this while watching Charice Pempengco on Ellen. Hahaha. She speaks like an Italian. Hahaha. And her voice--as it really is--was fantastic. Her English was not. She'd be a great singer if her English was better. "Yor MY best MON I ever know!" "And YOW YOW YOW. Yor gonna LOWB me." Hahaha! Seriously. But she's really good in power, in clarity, in pitch and in stage presence! (Minsan nga lang over sa pag-stretch, pero not that bad.) Go Pinoy! (Grabe! Amazed na amazed ang mga kano!)

Anyhow, I'm making Christmas cards right now... I better go finish them. Bukas ko na ibibigay. Shucks!
