Gahd. That was one amazing weekend.

I don't really feel like going through everything-everything that happened in there--not that I have the time. But I just wanna say that it was an awesome experience. Waking up at 2:30 am was worth it.

So yes, if you've been following Plurk/FB/Twitter, I woke up pretty damn earl and was in school at 3:30am. By 4:30, we were in Volvo Makati. What was I doing there? I joined this leadership camp thingo sponsored by--you guessed it--Volvo. From there, we headed to Tagaytay.

I miss Tagaytay. Seriously.

So yes. It's sorta like Edsor. You have the seminar talks whatever. You have the amazing race kind of thingo. You have the workshop output whatever. But this one was way more... umm... God-centered. And also way more fun. ;)

Sir Joey, one of the facis, was just really, really crazy. Hahaha. Seriously.
But I was the target for his Oo jokes. I didn't mind of course--I was "Sabik na sabik!"

The Hydrophobia game was cool. Though I secretly wished I got wet more. Hehehe...

The bonfire at night was wicked. Okay na ako kung ganoon na ball namin.
Cold air. Fire area. Soft music. Romantic lights. Ayos. If only there were a place like that in Manila. Hehehe.

Anyhow, the camp thingo is also a preparation jig for a speech contest on--you guessed it--leadership. To prepare, we wrote some speeches and performed it in front of panelists. Mine were a Palanca Award-winning poet, a Volvo leader and Raymund Lauchengco--the singer. It was cool to be compared to an Off-Broadway show. Hehe. I was happy they were entertained--you could see it in their faces.

I regretted one thing though--I didn't get Menchu Lauchengco Yulo's signature. Hahaha! Yeah, you prolly don't know her. She's the one who played Mrs. Lovett in Rep's Sweeney Todd. Haha! She was one of the other panelists.

I thought I'd be able to go a whole day meeting new people without being compared to a certain someone. But just before the day ended, I was proven wrong. Shucks. In addition, I now sorta look like another person. *facepalm*

Well. What made the trip fun was the people.
Crazy people actually. But to tell the truth, I was sorta loner-ish. :| I dunno. I blame Vito and Walter :P Nahawa ako sa anti-social tendencies. Kidding.
But yeah, I was quite shy actually--strange, I haven't been that shy in quite some time.

Anyhow, I hung out with a bunch of peeps during the campfire. Did crazy stuff.
And the bus ride home was tons as well. This time, with other peeps. But sadly... it was the bus ride home. :| Tama nga ang sinabi ni Isabella, dapat yesterday pa.

The kicker at the end of the camp was Really amazing.
Looking at balloons flying into the sky felt like a surreal experience. We should do that for grad. ;)

This blog is definitely all rambles. :| I'm ashamed. But whatever. Haha.
I had fun. The end. :D
