Post-Choc War and Stage FX
la lang...m: 11.19: 10.14
BEWARE! Contagious: Simpel Joys...
35 days till Christmas!

Anyhow, before I go Isaac Mendez and make my eight drawings, i just wanna do a quickie.

Well. Before I go write my second Choc War blog, here's what happened during the last show. Yeah. I had my new shoes on so I ran like a penguin when going to the other entrance. Why? To prevent tap-dancing and for my pants not to fall off. Hahaha!

Ultimate cam-whore right after "Saklolo! Saklolo! Kung sinumang nasa itaas diyan! Tulungan ninyo kami!" Sino kaya iyong mabigat na iyon. Anyhow, yeah, walang hiyaan na kaming nag-cam whore sa stage. LOL!

After, cam whorring pa rin sa dressing rooms. And then doing crazy stuff ulit. Hahaha! Well, I had cake all over my back which was soooo annoying. Hahaha.

Afterwards, we had our cast party. GRABE! Hindi kamai magkasya sa loob ng kotse. Nakakandong na lang ako kay Geremy. Hahaha! Sobrang sikip. LOL. Anyhow, we ate dinner and cam-whores some more till early in the morning. And then we went home. hahaha!

Thanks, Ms.A!

.-.

Kanina, we had a simple celebration and some discussion. I can't wait for FX Night and Field Trip! We're going to watch another play. YEAH!

Well. The first one being Into The Woods. I'm so excited. I wanna see that girl I saw in TV Patrol. She was amazing! hahahaha. Unbelievable.

Part of the discussion is:
AUDS ARE ON!
Hey guys! I'm inviting all of you to audition for our new musical. Join na! You'll have so much fun. Trust me! Contact me na lang for details.

Well. Anyway, tomorrow, I go do the P.A. again. LOL.

The Chocolate War
HAPPY!!*s: 11.18: 4.42
BEWARE! Contagious: Can We Chill...
36 days till Christmas!

That line holds some kind of importance to me...
Hmmm...

Anyhow.
THE CHOCOLATE WAR.

Although nothing will beat DUWA for me, The Chocolate War has really made a mark on my life. It's my second year on FX, and it seems that I still keep learning things I didn't know. And of course, the bond just keeps getting stronger... and it still will.

Wow. It all started June... or July. Hahaha.
I wanted to audition... and then I didn't want to... and then I had to. Hahaha!
What for? The smallest role I could find: Hippie. It still makes me laugh trying to remember it. Apparently, I landed another role: Brian Cochran.

I found it, at first, something easy. Why? I was helping Varrick act it out. I can still remember. We were somewhere in the middle rows of the Lecture Hall. There, I was tutoring Varrick. Hahaha! Anyhow, I thought it was just easy... so did Kim. (He almost went out for the role.)

Well, when I found out I got it. I'm like... Awww, Varrick. Anyhow, I started memorizing. And then when we were finally blocking my scenes out, I'm like SHIT. This is hard. Hahaha.
Yeah, I thought that doing Kristyano last time was much easier.... Lashing it out was easier than keeping normal.

Hmmm. Even during the shows, I felt I wasn't up on my best. Hahaha. But by the time I performed on the third show, I felt more confident that I was doing it right. Hehehe.

Anyhow, just to share. My voice was really bad during the first shows. I think it's because of "Yeah, Jerry! Hit him hard! Bring him down! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!" Hahaha. So yeah, I bought Bactidol, Strepsils and brought a jug of lukewarm water. Hahaha. (And so I've been avoiding most of our warmups that involve "1-2-3-" and "Hugh!")

If you happen to wonder why I backed out of auditioning at the last moment (right before I was told I had to), it's because I wanted to do prod. And well. I was able to do it. I was so proud when I looked at the souvenir program and found my name listed under PROPS. Weeee. That made my day even if my solo pic was printed fugly. Hahaha. (Other than the fact that I had a lot of pictures on the program)

Well. My quite short role in Act 1, made me able to do prod work. And I'm really proud of the work I've contributed. Hahaha. I'd say prod this year was really productive. Haha! That's even if I get really annoyed at my prod batch mates who... nevermind.

Prod was really an experience for me. (That's why I can't wait to be full prod next play... if we ever do have one. GUYS, C'MON!) I really was able to bond with the senior prod... Allen, Kevin, Manny, Jeff. I really enjoyed it... most of my OC-ness was channeled here. Haha! Hay, those props list and boxes. Hahaha. And BACKSTAGE! Hahaha. Wow, I can't remember how many times I've dragged people to come help me go fengshui on it.

Last... but not the least is lights. (alliteration!) Of course, working under Stacey is really... really... uh. How do I say it?

I learned a lot about wiring under lights... and conquering fear too. I still remember my memories of standing on the top of the ladder as Stacey dragged it across the stage. Of course, I'm like. SHIT! I DON'T WANT TO DIE YET! But in an attempt to find the silver lining, I just smiled and waved! Hahaha!

Well, I learned how much hard work it is to do lights. (Which is one of the reasons I want to do it in the next play too.) I mean, you really have to be patient everytime the wires keep getting chopped off (damn those thin wires) or even stepped on. Hay. I still get annoyed whenever Mickey eats the wires. I mean I've already done that certain wire 3 or 4 times? Hahaha! I still didn't know I was supposed to tie it together. Anyhow, lesson learned.

Truly, it was a much bigger experience being in The Chocolate War. Once again, as I said in last production's post, I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for FX.
Well, it seems contradictory since it was so much hard work. But hat I mean is, I can't have been any happier had I not been part of it 'coz it's really such a great source of... of... of everything. Again, I'm really happy that I joined this club... no matter what.

The Chocolate War: 9 and 10
HAPPY!!*s: 11.11: 2.19
BEWARE! Contagious: Me Love - Sean Kingston...
43 days till Christmas!

FX muna. Hahaha. I'll post whatever later. Hahaha!
I need some more strepsils! Grabe. Hahaha. Addik na 'ko.

Grabe. I wanna do so much stuff... save picture. upload pictures. read blogs. read ang pagkahaba-habang comment ng entry on the day i was drunk. Haha! jowk.
Anyhow. Gotta do all my homework muna. Need all the rest I can get. haha!

Well. Minalas ako for this play. Hahaha! Why?
First, I almost died.

Second, I kept tripping backstage. Naman! I almost fell off the stairs to appear on stage! hahaha.

Third, BOSES!!! Shucks. It started mga Thursday. Nawalan ako ng boses. Kakasigaw siguro. hahaha! I had our maid buy Bactidol and Strepsils nga in the middle of the night. Hahaha!
Grabe. I couldn't speak as loud as I wanted to without letting out that hoarse voice. Sana okay na 'to by next play. Hahaha!

On my part of the play, I did well... when I'm an extra in the scene. Hahaha! That's what I feel... pero when I have a speaking line, for some reason, parang awkward ang ginagawa ko. Hahaha! So sorta bad-feeling ako. Hahaha! Anyhow. I can still make up for it though. hahaha!
(btw. yes, charles. ako ang main character na may pinkamaiksing on-stage time. hahaha!)
Iniisip ko lang kung nakikilala pa rin ako nnung meron akong.... Hahaha!

Well. As for the whole play. Reaction was positive. Weeee! Hahaha.

Stupid sound equipment nga lang. Going bonkers all over the place. Speakers weirding out on us. hahaha! So yeah...as usal, hindi kami marinig/maintindihan. Hahaha!

Well. There are two plays left. I gotta work my act up na. Hahaha! I need more practice.

By the way... ini ang souvenir program! may white spot and black spot ang solo picture ko! Waaa!
But okay lang... marami naman akong mga pictures. hahaha! Tapos, my name is written under prod. (yeah!!! go prod!) So okay na. :D

ALSO! I was so crazy Saturday lunchtime. I texted Hit 995 FM. Told them to greet good luck. Hahaha! And they did. GALING! Hahaha. (Ms.A heard it pa nga eh.) LOL!

HAPPY!!w: 11.7: 11.43
BEWARE! Contagious: Tears Dry on Their Own...
47 days till Christmas!

Grabe. Kani-kanina lang kami natapos sa FX.

I just wanna say this: I ALMOST DIED! Hahaa!
Lol. Jowk. Why you say?
Kasi I was so atat with my scene that when I ran out of it, I slid off the stage and unto the stairs... lam mo naman the lecture hall. I almost hit head first into the stairs. hahaha. Buti na lang someone (i didn't see but htank you!), ms.a and the stool was there to catch my fall. Kung hindi. Naku, may trip to the hospital na tayo! Hahaha. Jowk!

Anyhow, we had critics' night tonight. I cans ay this wasn't our best run. It's good enough... but I KNOW that we CAN and WILL be able to do THE BEST. Hehehe! Not do better... do the best... kasi wala talagang comparison sa iba. Hahaha!

Well. Iyon nga, pinaghintay ko ang driver ng office ng... 3 hours? Hahaha. And then, when I went home, I'm like: "YES! NAUNAHAN KO SI DADDY!" That was until 5 minutes later that he arrived. Damn! Sana natulog ako agad para naiwasan ko agad...

ang pag-uusap. Hay. Ang arte. But it was much clamer than last time... alst time being last year. As usual.... habbits, time management, sleep, health, driver. Hahaha. And then, once again, "Next year, I want you to join another club." He said that last year, but I'm still with Stage FX this year. And now he said it again. Hay. What am I to do?

Well... if I'm talking about this... why is my avatar above happy? Well: No matter what anyone says... FX pa rin. FX pa rin. Kahit sirain pa iyan ng iba. Kahit wala na'ng sumali. Kahit walang-wala na. Hay.

And to end on another note:
WATCH THE CHOCOLATE WAR!
i'm really proud of this one! we've done so much work on it... and I want you guys to experience it. :D
i'm getting high already.. shucks.
siguro naman you know who I am na... an'daming kong na-drop na hints. Haha!
One more: cockroach!
Syempre... ide-deny ko pa rin. Why? Because I'm Vigils member number 2. Right?
(I just thought... I think I have one of the most sudden costume changes... as in paiba-iba in 3 scenes. Haha! And the most paraphernalia too. haha!)

I wanna talk more... but it's getting too late. Pagagalitan na ako. Haha!

This October na!

In other news:
I still need to make two blogs abour friday and saturday.
And wait for my pics from saturday.

Just makes me happy. Hahaha:

It's an actual article by me...
It may be a sucky one, but at least it's published. Hehe!

In my year of being Hoofprint, never was one of my articles published.
Well.... I barely wrote any good ones.
But they did promise to put the one about the CHOCOLATE Factory. But it never came. Hayz.

Duwa, Being Late and FX (as usual)
la lang...w: 9.19: 8.14
BEWARE! Contagious: I Wish I Could Back to College...
Hayz.
I'd write this one in Tagalog but it would be hard to translate some things to retain the same meaning.

First of all, my USB is broken! Waaa. That problem last night... yeah it's bad.
So it's dead. And I'm trying to find the time to find the new one. Hahaha!

Hayz.
I would first like to say... I HAVE DUWA NA!
Weeee. Just this weekend (I forgot to blog about it... or I just forgot that I did), I had the time to link Charles's CDs. So yeah... I got the two files from the CDs, found the program to convert the DAT into MP4. And then I went on to Movie Maker: removed the blue blank screens and the useless starting. I linked the two movies. And after 5 hours, TADA! Weeee.
Iyon nga lang... it's 1.2 GB. Woah! Hahaha. I don't have a DVD writer nor do I have a 4GB USB... so sorry Kim or whoever. Hahaha!

So yeah... SHHH! I fell asleep during Math today. Hahaha.
Just like Science yesterday. Hahaha!

So today, Wednesday, is assembly day. Supposedly, I was to accompany Mr. Enriquez in closing the Buwan ng Wika. But guess what! I know! SOOooooo annoying!
I was late. I mean, it's not just the rain. One of my bus mates must have taken so long in the bathroom because I was picked up at 7 na. WTF? (BTW: Last pickup ako)
Add to that the rain! Hay carramba!

Anyhow, so they finally gave the certificates for the Rio Tinto. Hahaha.

Before I go on to my usual FX "column", some more: Hahaha.
NOTE TO SELF: I need to be more domineering. No one takes me seriously. Hayz. If there were no such things as DPS, I would've punched quite a few people na for not listening to me. Hehehe. :D

So here it is.
FX was rough. Hehehe. It was, as I said, magulo. Hahaha.
Then, after Stacey was pointing out the lights. Bigla akong na-fascinate. Hahaha! I think I should do lights. (Besides, looking back: the songs are out of my vocal range. Hahaha!) That way, I know na how to do the lights... AND I can spend more time on the defunct H2 prod. Naks. Hahaha!
So yeah, after a few more talks, I suddenly got inspired to do more Prod work. Hayz. There's sooooo much to be done. Here, I can practice domineering skills. Hahaha. LOL. But on a serious note, we're getting nowhere! Hahaha.

Anyhow, it's nerd time. Hahaha. Must get aaaaalllll this work done.. haha

FX Night

HAPPY!!m: 9.10: 9.24
BEWARE! Contagious: Hairspray...

FX Night.
Sobrang late na 'to kasi I couldn't find the time to write it. Hahaha
See the pics: http://dewe52.multiply.com/photos/album/97/FX_Night_07

Anyhow.
So I snuck my cam into school again. Haha!
I was supposed to bring my phone din pero I left it back at home after some morning kaguluhan. Hahaha.
Actually, the night before, nag-ca-cram packing pa ako eh. And I definitely over packed. Hahaha.

So the whole day, I was really excited for FX Night. Hahaha.
And then by 4, YUN NA! Hahahaha.
Actually, mas excited sina CJ and Varr. Nag-aayos pa lang kami nina Kim ng stuff sa classroom, ginugulo na kami na bumababa. Hahaha.

So when we arrived, nagutom kami so we went to the Cafe.
I got some brownies (sugar) and iced mocha (caffeine) to keep me high. (Thanks to Mark nga pala na nanlibre sa akin! :D) Hahaha. I'm still amazed that everyone else in the table can drink pure coffee na. Hahaha. Ako, hindi pa. Haahaha.
By the time it was 4:34, biglang naalala namin ni CJ ang call time. Bigla kaming tumakbo papuntang Lecture Hall. Hahaha! But wala pa.

Anyhow. I started work on the sign.
When I got lazy, I passed the work on which I totally regret 'coz Kim ruined it. Stupidity, sheer stupidity. How I regret being lazy.
Anyhow, while complaining, I was worrying as we were looking for the fallen cutter blade and the cutter itself. (Cyempre, hindi ko kinapa... **remembers the grass n'ung catapult days*** Hahaha!)

So yeah. When it finally started, we were divided into groups.
I was in the Eketegle group. Or something like that. Basta.. CORN na lang. Hahaha.

So yeah. We did a cheer-making. And so bigla kong naalala si Burke nung ginagawa na namin.... Why? Tumalon-talon din cya last year nung Bongga. Hahaha.

And then we had the machine thinggy. Oki, this just proved we were definitely not that creative. hahaha. Dito naglag ang points namin. Kami lang ang 3 points... Ang iba, ang taas-taas. haha!

So after that, we had an explanation of the CLOSATS.
And then we ate dinner.... pero subuan muna. Hahaha. Let's just say I had so much spoons. Hahaha. ;D BTW, none of the people I fed got sick... with the exception of Mark. But when is he never?

Anyhow. So we started practice and it was weird.... sorta. Hahaha.
I was the lead... and then. Un na.

We were watching the most ehem ehem plays ever. And the word "banana" never means the same thing anymore. Right, CJ? By the way, Kim's belly button was equally distracting as the plays. Hahaha.

So ours was the third and the most serious. HAhaha. Kinaba-kaba kami kasi kami lang ung seryoso. Hahaha. Anyhow, so my acting was sooooooo sabog.
And the cues were sabog too. I made far too many monologues which could've been prevented if everyone remembered when to enter. Hahaha. And I kept saying Luis when my character's name was Alberto.... Hahaha!
What I loved the most about ours is that I hit Dulay and Geremy with some piece of paper. Hahaha! I like doing that.

Anyhow, so we watched Fight Club right after. It's a cool movie but it made me wanna sleep. It's not boring... no. We just watched it at 12:30, which is why I wanted to sleep. The whole time, i was trying not to give in to temptation.

So yeah, it was really cool. My fave scene was the end. Nung gumuguho na ang mundo nang nakahawak kamay sila. Hahaha.

I wanted to sleep na right after pero endorphins started activating. And after picking up the camera, I went to go outside with the others. Pero I got dicouraged by the shadow I saw walking beside the canteen and chapel. So I went back in.

Anyhow, na-bore ako sa loob ng lecture hall so nag-malakas loob na ako. I got Mark Tee's flashlight and started exploring. Hahaha. So I was planning to walk to the swimming pool where everyone else was taking a bath. Hahaha. So sinamahan ako ni Darrel.

Anyhow, sobra akong matatakutin. Hahaha! When we were near the SFX statue, sabi ko: "What just moved by the Grade 5 classroom?" Sabi ni Darrel: "Lights from the building in the back." "What was that?" "Just a tree" And then when we were going down the stairs, may biglang nagsabi "Baka ka madapa." And it was not Darrel. I'm like. "SHIT! WHO'S THAT!" Sabi ni Darrel sabay turo: "Iyong guard." LOL HAHAHAHAHA!

So yeah, we arrived and then separated. And then lumabas ang ilan... that's CJ and other... I pulled CJ away and said let's pass by the field.... But when I looked, it was pitch black, sabay kami sa Art Rooms na lang. Pero madilim din so we went to the grade 5 na lang. Sa Art Room dumaan ang iba. Kami naman sa grade 5. (Diba haunted toh?) Anyhow, sumigaw silang nasa baba. So nakisali na rin kami nina CJ, sumigaw sabay takbo. But by the time we reached the MPC, we walked. Until CJ said.... I think I saw blood over there. I'm like "No joke?" And then I started running again. Sumbay si CJ and said yes. Hahahahah!

Anyhow. I would've slept from this point onwards but the others went out ulit. Hayz. So i just stayed by the stage. Nung bumalik sina Stacey at Germs, nag-cam-whore kami. Hahaha.

Nung dumating na ang ibang H2, nag-cam-whore pa. Hahaha! May bago ngang teleseryeng nabuo. Hahaha!

Anyhow, I would've slept at this time onwards... lahat kami nasa kama na. But they kept talking and I has nowhere else to sleep.. so I joined them na lang. Hayz. Sobrang out of sked toh. Buti pa si Allen, nakatulog.

Around 3, dumating na ang Jollibee, kumain sila. Nakakain na rin ako. Tapos tulugan na.

So 3 hours of sleep and I woke up dahila ng ingay-ingay nila. Hayz.
Apparently, I rolled down. Hahaha. So nagsisikipan na sila dun. Hahaha!

Anyhow, I forced Geremy to help me with the balloons. After much arguing about the glue mixture (cyempre, ako pa rin nanalo) we started work. Hahaha.

And then dumating sina Ms. Yao at Ms. Lampa. WEEEEEEE!
Hahaha. Pero umalis agad.... waaaaa!

Hahaha. After finishing the papier-mache, we ate breakfast and then played football. Hahaha. Tie naman this time. Hahaha.

So we ate lunch in character. Right, David? I even learned Tagalog from my new Filipino friends named Geremy and Bob! Hahaha! We had soooo much exchange students.

And then we started preparing for our first run. Hahaha.
Syempre, busy ako with props... Hahaha.
We almost didn't start actually. Hayz.
Pero we finally did.

Anyhow, I kept running around the place worrying about the props. Hahaha. Nakakainis nga ung mga nagbalik ng chairs gayong diniscuss na cya tapos nagnuh-NO DEAL pa ako nung ending ng scene. Hayz.
So it was better than the last run. Hahaha.

So that's how FX night went... skimmed and censored na. Hahaha.
Mostly because pagod na ako at wala akong maaalala. Hahaha.

U can't imagine what was happening na right after.
Read in between the lines na lang dun sa

Duwa and FX... last notes

Saturday, March 3 at 10:11 PM
Wow.
FX forever! I hope this entry isn’t as discouraging as it is long—very long. Pang-FWA na!

On a more serious note, I really love Stage FX. It’s really fulfilling that, after all those practices, we had a successful show. Although not perfect, it was close enough. I am really glad that I decided to join this club.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

After all the days of practice, especially those that reached 10:30+pm, I can say everything was paid off fully. Even though it brought a lot of stress, depression, failure and all other things found in Pandora’s Box, I still can say that I couldn’t have survived without Stage FX.

School, high school for that matter, is really stressful. Everyday, there’s homework; every week, there’s a new deadline. Oral test this, portfolio that, ORR this, creative synthesis there, AA here. The work just keeps piling up together with all those other personal problems brought up by teenage angst. I guess the year would have been a waste if it wasn’t for FX—and my friends, too.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Duwa is definitely something I am very, very proud of. Not in a way wherein newspapers need to write a review talking about how it’s like no other theatre show, but in a way that it has helped me grown as a person. (Quite hard to understand? I know I’m not making sense, just pretend.) I mean, it’s taught me a lot about life; its variety. How you have to strive hard to achieve something great. How each detail is important because the jigsaw puzzle wouldn’t be as lovely in the end if we didn’t put up with each piece. How each struggle brings the best in each and every one of us.

FX has made me do things unbelievable and unimaginable. At first, I thought it would be just like the grade school’s X-Rep; only, it would have actual presentations, but by the first day itself, it proved to be a challenge. Even if I fell face-flat on the lecture hall ramp while vocalizing and running around with my hands up, I kept running. Even if it ended later than usual, I was fine. Even if I barely new the members and I wasn’t really close to those I know, I stood up.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
FX helped made me face a different kind of rejection-acceptance experience. Who knew I’d end up speaking better Filipino because of it? (Well, better than before at least. I am proud to admit I still have an English mix to my Tagalog) Who knew you could get a kissing scene—one not ideal, one that’s fake, one I still don’t want to be reminded of because of what might have happened in the end (please don’t remind me, hehe), aren’t you glad it was removed?—in your first audition? Who knew I would actually curse—in Filipino? (Who knew people don’t know I don’t curse in English?) Who knew? Who knew?

Yes, to those who are out of the group, I auditioned for the role of Andres Gorospe in Condemned. I, instead, was forced to do an excerpt of Kristiyano in Hulugan. Up to this day, I don’t know why I got that role since I was, as they say, out of character and barok in Tagalog, but I am very proud that I was chosen to do Kristiyano. It was definitely more than what I bargained for. It was more challenging than any other role that could have been offered—or forced—unto me.
This drama club helped me become open to suggestion, criticism and change. I still remember those days that I would say Jesus and putang ina. Instead of the oh so Filipino-rich accent, I would say Jeses and not Jesoos. Or maybe the times I would say “p-p-p-putang ina”? Laugh with me all you want, but I can’t deny it.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I’d remember our first gig during the talent drive, and I’d still wonder how much worse I was then compared to now. I’d remember the extra Saturday practices we had before that. I remember the times Jerrick, CY, Perez and I would try out the most obscene, awkward, uncomfortable, hilarious, heat-capturing, space-consuming positions as practice for blocking and levels. I’d remember how I’d die and how my bones were about to break, and that one time I already couldn’t breathe. Resilience. I stood strong. We stood strong. We survived.

I remember those workshop moments. The breathing exercises, the paint-a-moving picture, the spotlight. Hilarious as it is, it also helped us improve our talents and lessened the stress we were carrying. Laughs and enjoyment aren’t harmful. I remember how much KFC we’ve been eating. Yum.

FX night. That was definitely a memory. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Although it was a night of serious practice, it was surely very fun. It made our FX family’s bond stronger. Rolling down the lecture hall, secret trips ;), fighting over the shower, leaving people in the shower with the lights off, Moulin Rouge, ghosts, dancing, remedial Math class, etc. That was a night.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And the practices. Who could forget? Those nights were as tiring as hell. The last time I had so much stress was during the Choral Recitation. Although, that was different. Then, the frustration was pointless because I’d walk up the next day to experience déjà vu. Kim, is your butt heavy? Who meowed? Do you love each other? WESTON! KARL! BENJAMIN! Karl, is the world beautiful? Those wretched memories. Stage FX was different. After a moment of purgation of emotion—deep emotion at that,—we suddenly grew better. Practice was more exciting. We lived every moment of it. And we went home at a late time. (It’s a good thing there wasn’t much homework.)

The next day: The play-date! No one would know how much stress and nervousness we were feeling. We were running very late; the crowd was restless. As I slowly opened the curtains, the oxygen was running low. The heart beats. Tugdug. Tugdug.

I couldn’t distinguish the jeers from the applauds. Was there something wrong with me? I guess stage fright got to me. I committed a lot of mistakes during the dance sequences. Not to mention how poorly I did during Hulugan. I couldn’t even be heard. (Up to now, I can’t even finish watching the video clips taken from those days.)

I wasn’t down and out or anything, just quite embarrassesd. Who wouldn’t? I guess what kept me up were the great comments (especially from the unexpected) and the great support of the FX family.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The next day was prime. It was exciting and I enjoyed it very much. I didn’t commit any more mistakes during the dance sequences. I don’t know about my volume, but I think—I THINK—it was better. Overall, it was great! Who knew you would be mobbed by comments from other people once you get out? And of course, the pictures! It was really great.

FX for life. At this point, I want to quote Stacey. “FX isn’t a group; it’s a family.” And I’m very proud to be part of that family. Thank you, SanLu, mister director, for all the guidance and dealing with my very amateur acting skills. Thank you, Perez, CY and Jerrick, for dealing with me. (No thanks given to those times when I was dead and… ehem.) Thank you, Kim, Mark and Christian, for being really close and approachable during the meetings. Thank you, Stacey, for teaching me the lights. (?!) Thank you, Mr. Legaspi, for being such a great moderator and mentor. Thank you, Ms. Lampa, for being really approachable and close to me even if we’ve only met each other during these times. Thank you, Ms. Yao, for all the fun and laughs, and the time inside the restricted areas. Hehehe. Thank you, Gng. Enaje, for helping me improve our acting. (Sorry for crying on you makeup, too.) Thank you, everyone! I may have not mentioned your names, but all of you have been very dear to me.

I love this family.

First of all, I, and the whole Stage FX, am very thankful for all those who watched and/or supported our show. We hope you enjoyed as we did. :D

Soon to get more from Babsi and Charles and Paul. Hahaha.

PREMIERE NIGHT
Wow. What can I say?! ANg saya! Grabe. So we arrived in the lecture hall at around four. (Congrats to Jerrick by the way in the H2 English contest thingy. HIHI!) After some simultaneous "work," We made our way inside and I helped Stacey with the lights. Apparently, I'm his successor or what-not. Haha. Anyhow, we got into our costumes after, ate and then put make-up. Backstage pa alng... ang gulo-gulo, ingay-ingay, saya-saya namin! HAHA!

So.
The crows was really loud that day. Haha. I made a slip up while putting Ms. Lampa's platform: I got tangled up in the wires. I just moved forward and soon I souldn't get out. I just hope everyone thought the same thing as CJ: I was just doing some kind of dance steps. Haha. Seriously, such a slip-up. Haha. So there it went. Hulugan. This Guy's... another slip up! I put the bench in the wrong angle! I'M SO OUT OF MY MIND! Condemned. Sumayaw, Sumunod... yet another slip up! Ano ba tong mga dance numbers. Here, I mistook the steps.. YIKES! I HATE IT!

Generally, the crowd was very lively... I don't know if that was a good thing then. Haha. Well, afterwards, Synjin came and commented. SUPER SHOCKED AKO! Sabi niya I did great... (I KNOW... WHO"D EVER TOT HE COULD SAY SOMETHING TO ME LIKE THAT?!?! Haha.) Well, he said he understood the role becasue of me but my blocking was off because I kept chenging the size of the well. And I was a bit weak. Haha. Wow. SHocked pa rin.

LAST NIGHT
Wow. Kanina was fantastic! Grabe!
The crowd wasn't as lively though because they were warned to observe proper theatre etiquette. HAHA!

I have no known slip-ups... Well, except for maybe my voice projection and well size-ing... Hahaha! But no more wire-trapping, bench-wrong-moving or wrong steps. YEAH!!! WEEEE! Haha. Somehow, I liked the audience today better. Hahaha. I still don't get why The srtogn inherit the world the weak inherit shit is hilarious. Do u? Haha. So if I said shit isntead of putang ina, would people laugh? Hahahaha. Oh well. Hahaha.

The play is a great success. Pagkalabas namin, we were greeted by a lot of people. Gulat ako with two who greeted me... a parent. I dunno who, kinda old... I bet she doesn't even know me. Haha. And Mr. Ang. Haha. Never thought... kasama niya si Ms. Cuevas by the way. Haha. Kinda WOW to get comments from people ur not close to. Hahahaha.

During this time too and up until the FX post-meeting, it was pictures galore. Snap Snap Snap Snap Snap. Hahaha. I think they went to Ash Creek but I didn't go because I wanted to go home na. Hahaha. Oh well. Saya!
