Little Fat Boys and Pig Bellies to Comfort the Ailing

Where was I?
Oh yes. I was just about to write a blog--something I haven't been doing even if I told myself I'd keep on doing it at least once a week. Don't we all forget our New Year's resolutions anyway? Yay, consistency!

Why yes, I'm still alive. I haven't died yet even though it seems like there's no life in this blog. I guess one reason behind that is because I've been micro-blogging a lot. No, I don't (technically) use Twitter. I'm non-conformist... I use Plurk. I guess short instant statements basically take care of all of my thoughts, so I have nothing left to write about.

It's just like coughing. When you've spit out a whole lot of phlegm, you can't technically cough out a big one when you feel there's something wrong with your throat... There's nothing there. Poor you.

Okay, bad analogy. I just want to say I'm still sick... but I'm getting much better.
But hell, that's all I've been saying. "How're you now?" "I'm better."
What's that supposed to mean anyway? It's like saying "NICE TO MEET YOU!" when you're being introduced in a really loud party. You don't really know what to say, so yeah, "NICE TO MEET YOU!" (Better analogy... I think.)

So, whilst my illness continued, a lot of things happened. Major things. Like really.
For example, my sabaw article on the elections actually made it past the red tape and in to the latest issue of Stallion. Okay, that's not that major, is it?

What's major? The FX Musical. My QTs. The end of high school.
Yes, I was sick for most of that. Sick of what, you ask (or not)? Pneumonia--a mild form at least. Well I dunno really. Just saying pneumonia easily answers the question.
"What's your sickness?"
"I'm just coughing a whole lot."
"Huh?"
"There's some small stuff in my lungs."
"Huh?"
"I have pneumonia."
"Ohhh... Get well!"

I spent Sunday night in the hospital. No, I wasn't confined or anything. I was just in the emergency room, waiting all night long for the x-ray results. They found something in my lungs. It isn't exactly pneumonia--the doctor didn't say it was. However, she wrote down pneumonia on the prescription sheet thingo. (Maybe she thought about how I'd have a hard time explaining and wanted to help me out a bit with the word pneumonia.)

Well, being sick was a bummer.
First, I missed my speech contest. Damnit. And I really went all the way to Makati for rehearsals the day before. Gee, total good use of time. :|
Second, the first preview of Joseph was cancelled because I couldn't make it and neither could my understudy make it.
Third, I had a really bad preview on Thursday.

Okay, I'm not blaming the bad preview on being sick. There were a couple of factors behind it, and I don't want to get depressed again, so I won't name them.
Needless to say, we really improved on the fumble and had three amazing shows. :D

Thank God. Joseph is over. Well not really... I miss it. But what I mean---gah, you know what I mean. All the hyper practices, the cups of tea with honey, the forgetfulness, the intense singing is finally done. I'm going to write an actually ending blog for that. I won't say much here because I might not be able to cough out a bigger, better blog about it later on.
It was tiring, but it was amazing. I'm going to miss it. I miss it.

As I said, I was sick.
I missed two days of class, meaning I had to make up for them. As such, I had Filipino QTs when no one else did. I also took a whole lot of makeup stuff. Chinese this. Soc Sci that. English this. In Filipino, it was very nakakalula, like OMG'yah!

QTs went pretty well. CLE was all right. Science was pretty okay. Math was a breeze. Soc Sci was pretty okay as well.

Want to learn a secret? But don't tell anyone, I'm such a BI.
I didn't study for the Math QT. Shhhh! I was busy making my Filipino thesis and English reader's companion. Hehehe. I basically crammed everything I needed to know the morning before the test. But yeah, that was easy. I think I was made for log. :P
DON'T COPY ME!

Well. School finally ended today. To celebrate, the whole class--well, most of us--went to the Fort and played paint ball. I didn't actually play though. I'm poor and I'm sick, so scratch that idea. Instead, I took pictures, friend under the sun and died in boredom. But it was fun! :D
(Note: Sarcasm.)

Since most of them decided to skip the movie and go grocery-shopping O.o, Mark and I decided to split. We went to Shang and watched Alice in Wonderland. Great film! :D

Long story short... Well, okay, I don't know how to turn this into a long-story-short summary.
I had a busy two weeks. And it seems quite bittersweet how it's ending. But I won't talk about that here. I'll have a series of blogs about this... prolly. So I won't cough this one out just yet. Hehehe. (I'l prolly be using Facebook for some of them. OMG, NO WAY!)

My phone is making me dizzy. I think I should sleep now. :P
(Gahd, I've been rambling. Need to get my thoughts clear...)
