Finally. Hahaha. La lang. Just wanted to say it again. LOL.

Yesterday was fun.
After going to Mass, we had the usual kainan. But this time we had it in Ayala. Grabe my tita's house is so big! Hahaha. Love the whole place. I love the attic.... it was gigantic! Hahaha!
Syempre, naglaro kami ng aking mga pamangkin. Hahaha! I miss Alex and Botchok na! Hahaha. Especially Alex. Ang sarap magigil. Hahaha. She can say ninong and tito na. Hahaha! She keeps calling me nga eh. Hahaha!

After that, Trisha left with my dad and me. (She's sleeping here for the rest of sem break) Hahaha. We went to Shangri-la kasi the maids aren't home. Hahaha. So we ate dinner. The usual: Penne with Three Cheeses. Hahaha.

Well, we went to Power Books next. *sigh* There wasn't an offer to get a book. Waa! And neither did he want to pass by the CD store. Naku. Ang kuripot. Hahaha! LOL. Jowk! Hahaha!

Anyhow, we watched Stardust right after. IT WAS SOOOOO COOL! Hahaha.
I loved it. Hahaha!
I really liked the story. It was choppy at first, but then towards the middle, it became really, really cool! Id watch it over and over and over again! Hahaha.
I loved that it had a lot of adventure, comedy, romance and fantasy. Hahaha. LOL.
I liked how Yvaine glowed, Tristan transformed, Robert De Niro's character acted, Michelle Pfeiffer's character was so crazy. Hahaha. Septimus looks like Snape though. Hahaha!
I wanna watch it again. Hahaha!

Well. During the trailers, I saw Lions for Lambs. It looks cool. Hahaha! Something political naman. Starring Meryl Streep << really great! hahaha.

Anyhow, I slept na at around 2.
Hahaha. Well. I woke up for lunch today. Hahaha! And well. Nothing much. Hahaha!
Anyhow... going to watch HEROES!

Okay. So I did have my medical exam today. Hahaha. Not quite what I expected... but it was good. Hahahaha! Lol. The blood-taking part still hurt. Hahaha. But I over-exagerated. Or maybe it was just that the girl taking it was skereee. Hahahaha.

The whole place--Fort Med--was really cold. But it was nice. They were Halloween-themed actually. In fact, they were talking in the staffroom (that's where I ate breakfast). They said na this Halloween, they'll be wearing costumes. Hahaha! So scary na lang sa mga magpapakuha ng dugo tapos nakascary costume. Especially for the kids. hahaha! Plano nga ng receptionist mag-dress up as mental patient. Tapos pag kinausap ang mga tao... egh.... Hahahaha!

Well. While waiting in the waiting room, I finally finished The End. Wow. Loved their story. But it felt bitin. :( Hahaha.
So, I started An Acceptable Time na. I dunno. It feels bland. But I'm only in Chapter 4 so who knows. Hahaha!

Anyhow. We went in to Greenhills to buy a jar right after. Aghh. Nuisance.
Well, when we got home, I dropped into my bed and fell asleep.
Grabe, I slept so long. I didn't eat breakfast and awoke at 4. Hahaha!

Well, after eating merienda, I watched Wicked... thanks CJ for the CD! Hahaha!
I liked it. Hahahaha. It was really nice and funny. Especially the allusions to the Wizard of Oz. haha!

Well. Here I am. I plan to sleep early tonight. LOL.

Anyhow.
Let's start off with last night. Curiosity got the best of me. So right after studying, I read The End. (Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events Book the Thirteenth.) I got the fever again. Hahahaha! I'm very intrigued to find out what happened. Hahaha.
Basta, I fell asleep last night at 11:30 reading the book. Hahah. I'm on Chapter 9 na. Haha!

Well.
I got to school. Started having tutoring lessons whatever. Science was okay. But the essay was what I feared the most. I had no idea about the application of the Human Genome Project. I just made wild guesses: curing, tracing and forensics. I shoulda listened to Babsi more.
Other than that, I think I did well. Hahaha!

Recess. Then, the last: CLE.
It was fair. Hahahaha! They really made you think... which is good. Hhahaha!

So we had a whole run of the play today.
For me, AGH! I thought it was okay BUT
1. There was no prod-cast interaction. It's as if the props (and their boxes) never existed.
2. Forgetfulness. Yes. We've forgotten a lot of the blocking over the short break. Hay. Oh well.

Anyhow, we were looking for a new creative committtee. Hahhaha!
I was almost stage manager. Almost. Phew!
I still wanna work on prod and lights! Hahahaha!
I'm now officially Stacey's assistant! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hahahaha!

Well. We almost didn't have auditions.
But then.... buti na lang we did.

Kevin: didn't think u could sing. I'm amazed. Hahaha!

I was part of the what-do-u-call-it-decision-makers-for-the-audition-people.
It was nice being in there. Really got a lot of insights. Hehehe.
And what Mr.Legs said about the h2... that's true. Hahaha.

Hay. I was just Wiki-surfing amidst the deadlines. Then, I found out:
She died at the age of 88 of natural causes last September 6, 2007.

Sigh. I couldn't believe it. But it has happened. It was only last year when we took up A Wrinkle in Time. Makes me wish I talked about Many Waters as my oral test piece and ORR. If only I wasn't chosen as the 7th speaker, I could've made a last minute change.

I loved her Time Quintet. I really enjoyed them.
I can still remember the day Sean told me about them. I tried the book myself and got amazed. Soon, I finished the three books available at the library. Hahaha. I still remember reading Swiftly while at a family picnic at Tagaytay.
And then CJ gave me Many Waters as a birthday gift.
Those are my two faves. A Swiftly Tilting Planet and Many Waters.
And then last year, we took Wrinkle up for the second quarter.
Hayz. And then I got the last book from the Time Quintet for Christmas. An Acceptable Time. I plan to read it this sem break (together with Lemony Snicket's 13th:The End and Eats, Shoots and Leaves--yeah the punctuation book. LOL)

How sad.
Anyhow, I plan to re-read Swiftly and Many Waters once I'm done with my last books.

Intrams and Reminiscing

m: 9.24: 12.09 BEWARE! Contagious: unbelievably blank...

Most of all, he was tired of Archie. Archie the bastard. The bastard Obie alternately hated and admired. For instance, at this minute he hated Archie with a special burning hate that was part of the boredom and weariness.

Okay... so yeah. I fell asleep looking for these lines in the book.
And I found them. Why did I choose them? Because these are the lines that got me to like Archie's character. Except for the last one. They're a clue. ;-) Not for readers though.

Obie didn't bother to answer. You couldn't ever win an argument with Archie. He was too quick with the words. Especially when he fell into one of his phony hip moods. Saying man and cat, like he was a swinger, cool, instead of a senior in a lousy little high school like Trinity. Archie was uncanny.

So yeah. This is a Thursday blog. Quite late though. Hahaha. In fact, I can't remember much at all.

So we had our intrams this day. Hahaha.
Once again, we lost. But this isn't a surprise. Hahaha. Ang'galing ni Josh, I have to admit. As in walang ka-effort-effort niyang hinihit ung bola. Hahaha. That's why I told Kim to keep throwing it unto Anthony.
But we still lost.

But you know what, I don't feel bad. Why?
Coz I miss badminton. The last time I've played it was a long time ago. Hahaha. I think it's a year ago. So sad, but true. Hahaha!

Archie waved his hand, singaling that he was tired of conversation. You could see him physically withdraw although he was only a foot or two away from Obie on the bleacher bench. Archie's lower lip dropped. That means he was concentrating. Thinking. Obie waited in anticipation, hating the thing in him that made him look at Archie in admiration. The way Archie could turn people on. Or off. The way he could dazzle you with his brilliance--those Vigil assignments that had made him practically a legend at Trinity--and the way he could disgust you with his cruelties, those strange offbeat cruelties of his that had nothing to do with pain or violence but were somehow even worse. It made Obie uncomfortable to think of that stuff and he shrugged the thoughts away, wiating for Archie to talk, to say the name.

Grabe. I slept really, really late that Thursday. Sobra kasi daming homework. And I'm still distrated by Wikipedia, Multiply and YM. Hayz.

I wish we were back at the grade school.
I'd sleep at 10:00 not because I had homework but because I was watching TV. Hayz. But look at me now: sobrang stressed. Hayz.

This reminiscing made me remember the good times during grade school. Not only the reminiscing, even FX made me remember grade school. Why?
SYMBIOSIS.

Yes. That damned yearbook that turned out fugly. (but I'm satisfied because my cover page appeared.) Yeah. We'd stay till late sa printing press at Project 8. Cross the street to McDo. Make jokes. Annoy Ms. Diaz. Hayz.
But then no matter how late we stayed, my parents don't give lengthy sermons as they do now. Hayz.

I really miss those Symbiosis days.

He rose and stretched. He was tall and not too heavy. He moved with subtle rhythm, languidly, the walk of an athlete although he hated all sports and had nothing but contempt for athletes. Particularly football players and boxers, which happened to be Trinity's two major sports. Usually, Archie didn't pick the athletes for assignments--he claimed they were too stupid to absorb the delicate shadings, the subtle intricacies involved. Archie disliked violence--most of his assignments were exercises in the psychological rather than the physical. That's why he got away with so much. The Trinity brothers wanted peace at any price, quiet on the campus, no broke bones. Otherwise the sky was the limit. Which was right up Archie's alley.

AND I MISS THE BUS!
Sobra. Not the bus as in my bus right now.
What I mean is TWG-592.

I miss my busmates. Ysa. Maan. Richter. Manang. Kinders. People na ginugulo ko. Everyone else.
Hayz. Sobrang miss ko na sila!

Sobrang quiet kasi sa bus namin ngayon, and I'm not the type that spontaneously makes noise. I need some ignition. Hayz.

I still remember how Kevin would sleep like a monster and would sway side-to-side. When he swayed towards mine, he'd push Richter who in turn presses his bones and Kevin's weight on me. Both of them asleep; me in pain. So i'd just push them back. Hahaha.
Why did I suddenlt remember this? There was a repeat with the grade school kid and Raphael. Hayz. Nice going.

"Know what Archie?" "What?" "Life is sad, sometimes." That was one great thing about Archie, you could say things like that. "Life is shit," Archie said.

Before I leave, I think I have some final wishes... actually none. Goodbye.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Anyhow. I've just finished the book yesterday.

THE BOOK WAS AWESOME.

It really kept me guessing, but in the end, all your questions from either book has been answered. It was fantastic.

I mean. Everytime I read the book and fall asleep after, my dreams are usually about it. Making some assumption and what not. I really, really love it.

It had so much emotion, and I was drawn to them. The battle kept me excited. And those solemn hour. And who can forget the adrenaline rush back in the real final battle?

Each chapter really got me excited, and once I've finished it, I can't put it down no matter how much homework was piling up. I mean, it was all fantastic. And then, I'd end up reading it till late.

Right now, I'm still quite thought-less. Just wanna say it's awesome.

Here I go again.
Anyhow. Today made up for whatever yesterday wasn't.

I'd just like to say I've finished Harry Potter. Hah!
So let's see. I started Tuesday evening. Continued till Thursday evening.
So that's like really little hours. Weee. I'm beginning to read faster na. Hahaha.

Not like I'm complaining. Hahaha.
I plan to read the whole series. But that'd be after I've bought a copy of the first book. Yes. That's the only one I haven't read. Weird noh?

Anyhow. Today, I almost went to sleep on top of my table.
But I didn't coz it'd make me feel sickly again. So I just... I just... what did I do?

So we had a Mass.
I liked the songs chosen.
One More Gift. Anima Christi. Take and Receive. In Him Alone. Panalangin ng Pagiging Bukas Palad. How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place.
I just wish they completed it with Humayo't Ihayag.

The one I hate the most is Tanging Yaman.
Imagine me behind Mrs. Angeles. Beside my makukulit na choir-mates.
Sleeping. And at the same time, singing. Impossible... but it's happened. And it's scary.

Blah. Chinese test was eeeeveeeel.
Plus... we've got to memorize two stories for the oral test! damn.
And I barely even know the Pin-yin.

It really makes me nervous. Especially the content part. Partly on my nervousness.

CLE was awesome.
We started it with a reflection sa chapel. That really got my stress out. I mean. I loved the reflection part. AND NO KARL! I was NOT sleeping, you..... .
I really liked the music he was playing. It calmed me down... especially the quiet time too.

And then, we played for the Mafia second half.
What's annoying is that they released me from the village.
Why? I'm not the murderer. And I'm not acting like one. Bias!

The Wii was FANTASTIC!!!

Right now, I could still feel the pain in my back from the Wii boxing, but I don't mind. It was one hell of a game. I loved it.

After the game though, I was sweating as though I played badminton. And I could feel the pain in my back and arm muscles. But hell! I loved it.

I just wish I can have it forever. Definitely still on my Christmas list.

The food there is ghastly! Not worth it.... ever. I should've just stuck with the Fried Chicken.

Getting some trouble in the rumble.
I learned my lesson. Bring a wallet... and change. In case the hospital doesn't have tissue.

Hayz. After more waiting, tsanan. Nakapasok na.

He just diagnosed me with Pharyngitis. Gave me meds. Hahaha.
So it was a good thing that I stuffed myself with all things cold.

And we waited for his dad for...

So we just waded in the pool and talked for like soooo long. Never a hearty talk as that. We would've swam. But I'm sick. For heaven's sake.... why am I sick?!?!

And so he arrived, passed by McDo. And then I slept early. Goodnight.

Grabe nakaka-adik ang Heroes. Just today, we finished the whole DVD. Nakkainis lang kasi DBD-DBD cya kaya it says the Complete Season 1 Episodes 1-18. The real thing is actually till Ep 23. DAmnit. WAAA! Well, we watched Ep19 on the web, pero we wanna watch all the others.
Ang ganda kasi ng story. Hahaha. I wanna know na what happened. It has sooo much cliffhangers. I wanna see it na. Hahaha. Just kanina rin, I knwew there were other fans as well like Joaquin and Kim. Hahahaha!

Anyhow, back to real life.
Yesterday, pumunta kami ng Shang pagkatapos mag-misa (Mass after pagkatagal-tagal sa bathroom. Hahaha!) Anyhow, nagpalamig kami dun habang nag-de-day off si Yaya Grace. Hahaha! First, bumili muna kami ng tickets. We watched the Shooter. And we bought na for Spiderman on Saturday. Wiheee! Haha.

So after, we went to Starbucks @ 7, we lounged there for a long time and then went muna to Powerbooks habang nasa TrueValue si daddy. WEll, they still don't have what I want. And I saw this other book on the catalog called "The End of Harry Potter." It intrigues me. ANyhow, after that, we went to the movie house na.

Well, when they sell tickets they say, "Food and drinks from the CineBar lang po." Hahaha. WEll, my dad sneaked in some Grower's peanuts by hiding it inside my jacket being held (and later on worn) by Trisha. Haha! Pasaway talaga.

ANyhow, ang cooool ng movie!!! Hahaha. Super galing ng guy (Mark Wahlberg.... forgot his name.) Hahaha.

What else, well after that we went to National, and I saw a Photoshop book! And we bought it. WEee.. It's very very cool. Kumpleto cya tapos may 2 Cds pa! Hsahahaha.

Anyhow, after long decisions, we finally chose to eat in MongKok. The food there was really good. Hehehe.

And then Heroes marathon.

I woke up, and Trisha was watching Heroes na. Haha. S we rewinded and then we finished the whole DVD. And we're SOOOOOOO BITIN!. Hahaha. Anyhow. We're trying to discuss the Scheduling problems with the swimming kasi parating na ang trsining ko sa school. Hahaha. ANyhow.

Based on that, I think there are going to be scenes where:

• Voldemort and Harry will try to catch something
• They're going to be ion some kind of place with pillars, wood and a crowd... maybe a coliseum
• Harry will have a necklace that might be:
• A horcrux that's one of Slytherin' posessions (may snake kasi)
• The trio is going to fall into some pit with jewelry

Sadly, I can't make out the text on the back of the British choldren's version. All I see are: "Harry is" "Privet Drive" "The Order of the Phoenix is coming" "Safely away without" "But what will Harry be then?" "How can he fulfill the" and "Professor Dumbledore has left him with." I'll try to find another picture.... Haha!

Hmmm.
Today has it's own bitterness and it's own sweetness. Hehe. I woke up late today. Well, late as in I was supposed to wake up earlier. Oh well.

Anyhow, after a scruptious lunch, my dad and I went to Shang unconventionally. Why? Chen-chenen-chenen! First tym kong mag-MRT! HAHAHAHAHA! Pinagagawa ang kotse sa casa, so we commuted for today. Hahaha. Apparently, masikip sa loob. I was wondering paano na kung rush hour. Kawawa naman. And, na-a-out of balance ako. Tinatamad kasi akong maghawak sa railings... Hahha!

So we arrived at Shang. Did our errands. I had a haircut in Bruno's sa branch na toh. I like it better here. Hindi masyadong short buhok ko. ANd then, my masahe and gel pa. Hahaha. After more errands, we decided tow atch a movie. A Boy|Girl Thing. Since 4.50 pa cya. We went around.

Una, MUSIC ONE! Cyempre!
I got Chicosci. Self-titled album ata'eh. And Mary J. BLige's The breakthrough. Weee! Yay! I think I need to edit my wanted CDs list. hahaha! Out of stock ang Step Up soundtrack and CallaLily's Destination XYZ! GRRR! Nakakainis! Last month pang out of stock ang step up ah! After, PowerBooks. Lumaki na pala cya. They took up the space The Red Room once was. Haha! Wala sila ng Beatrice Letters. Wow. SOLD OUT. Tapos, i found alamt ng gubat. But i didn't buy kasi walang offer. (I think kasi 450 na ang MJB... HAHA!)

Christmas '06 and Other Exploits

Christmas.
Not as grand as I expected it to be. But still the best of all holidays. Haha. Wow. How it went by. ENTER.

Hmmm.
It started okay. The regulars. blah. Somehow, it was boring. I loved it in Crame. They were absolutely more fun. Why? Most probably because there are less people now. Most of our relatives--the Syquios, the Garcia-Carrancejas--have migrated to teh US. Damn. I miss those days. More cousins. Hayz.
Well. Gift giving. Elf-business. Eating. The usual. Hmm. I miss the Lengua. It was replacced by roast beef. Sana sa new year meron. Wow. And the lechon was, once again, makunat.

iPod.
At first, I thought I saw it already. But I was disappointed to think it was not IT. (Confusing?) And then... I saw it. NANO. Good enough... I wanted the Video but oh well... LURVE. Haha.
And so, the reason I haven't blogged... other than the fact that there's a lack of time and that i haven't uploaded the pictures... is that I have been busy trying to work iTunes out. That evil player. Especially the fact that it won't convert DRM-WMAs and that it can't separate artists. Damn. Oh well.

Haha. I slept at around 3. Shucks. bakit pa kasi ako sinama? Ma-bo-bore lang naman ako doon. Hayz. Oh well.

I had sort of a "headache" if you know what I mean, and I rather not express my grief. All I can say is that I'm so happy that I got myself some iPod accesories and An Acceptable Time by Madeleine L'Engle. (BTW: I also now ahve The End)

Homecoming.
Tito Dick arrived last night. Wow. There was so much pasalubongs. Even an mp3 player. Really grateful! Wow. They're really thoughtful. Haha. Trisha now has a webcam, too. Hehe. Well. The night was also boring. Haha. Oh well.

Now, I must go continue fixing my iTunes. Damn that player.
